Who knows where the time goes? - Now Available

We have received so many requests that we have decided to release 'Who knows where the time goes?', written by Sandy Denny, on a 2 track single. Kate recorded the track for use in the series Jam & Jerusalem. The 2nd track is Elfin Knight (recorded for the J&J wedding scene). Available Now

UK Touring

The spring dates are coming to an end, just Frome and Wychwood Festival to go. Thanks to you for coming along and making the concerts fab! Watch out for a few more dates in July. The Lyceum and Bowood concerts are an outing of Kate's collaboration with Donald Grant and the Red Skies String Ensemble. The other dates feature the usual band. After that there will be more dates from late September onwards including a 2nd Christmas tour. Details to follow asap.

USA Album Release

The release date for Awkward Annie has now been set as 15th April 08. Thanks to everyone who's waited so long - the album is being distributed through Koch USA and should be in all good record stores.
Flying is back on the agenda for Kate but we haven't been able to get anything together for concerts in the US for 2008 as yet. Plans are already under way to get Kate and the band over for various US and Canadian Festivals in 2009.

Channel 5 'My Music'

Channel 5 have put together 4, hour long documentaries in the series 'My Music' and one of them is about Kate. People attending Harrogate or Cawthorne concerts last year may remember seeing the film crew there! Kate's programme will be shown this Sunday, 13th April @11am. The first was about Seth on the 6th April and the remaining 2 programmes are about Eliza Carthy and Athena.

Jam and Jerusalem

BBC1 Fridays @ 8.30pm The sitcom from Jennifer Saunders is back. The 6 episodes all feature Kate's music including the opening track 'Village green preservation Society'
Episode 5 is on the 25th and then watch out for Kate and co appearing in person, in the final episode on the 1st Feb bbc.co.uk/comedy/jamandjerusalem

Christmas Tour

Thanks to everyone who came along and supported the Christmas tour. It's been great fun working with Anna Massie for the first time and also having the brass along. We are planning to record the Christmas material in the new year - it'll be a bit odd singing carols in February! The CD should be all ready for the end of 2008 and another Christmas tour! Best wishes for a Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year.

Canadian Release

Awkward Annie is set for release in Canada on 12th November 07. The release will be with Conveyor/ Universal and the album should be available through all good record stores. News on the US release to follow.

New Merchandise

The new Awkward Annie t-shirts are now available on-line and also the mug to go with new album. We've got Christmas baubles and Christmas cards and are very excited about them. The cards are here now and the Ian should have finished knitting the baubles ready for the first week in December. We'll despatch any pre-orders then. They are available on-line now and will be on sale on the December gigs.

Awkward Annie is now available in all good record shops. A big thankyou to everyone involved for working so hard to get it ready! Thanks too to all the lovely people who came along to support Kate at the Cambridge signing - it was a great success and we loved the balloons, hope you did too! The album is now available to download from our website and also from itunes.
