Kate Rusby’s November News

There’s plenty to be talking about this month as Kate’s a very busy bee in the run up to Christmas!! If you haven’t heard already, Kate’s fourth Christmas album Angels and Men is due for release November 24th. You can pre-order your copy on CD or VINYL 🙂

Life in a Paper Boat’ Vinyl Edition has just been nominated for Best Art Vinyl 2017!! Best Art Vinyl is a gallery exhibition held across the world with this year’s held in Budapest, Bologna and the Barnsley Civic, amazing stuff! 50 vinyl records released in 2017 are nominated and judged on the artwork design and concept. The winning album is voted on by visitors of the exhibitions and online votes too! Follow this link to cast your online vote and support LIAPB to become Best Art Vinyl 2017 – http://www.artvinyl.com/best-record-cover-design-competition/ Voting closes beginning of January.

In other big news, Kate has joined forces with a Sheffield based shopping centre Meadowhall to create a brilliant festive campaign to help a worthy cause. The Meadowhall #SeeingIsBelieving Christmas advert is beautiful and Kate’s vocals compliment the video perfectly. We’re all delighted! For anyone visiting Meadowhall in the run up to Christmas, you can pick up a Limited Edition CD single which features the song ‘Home’ from While Mortals Sleep and a new track ‘Big Brave Bill Saves Christmas’, from the new album Angels and Men.

All proceeds made from the CD single are donated to the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice in Sheffield.
